ALABAMA MILITARY HOME ADDRESS REPORTS
In 2019, two dozen virtual volunteers transcribed a collection of 79,000 Home Address Reports, which were sent to local Selective Service boards by Alabamians who enlisted in the armed forces from about 1940 to 1966. These reports provide details such as name, home address, branch of service, rank, service number, date of entry into service, race, gender, and date of birth. The amount of information varies on each card, but most include the subject's signature.
